Our Junior Boxing Lessons is the perfect boxing class for children to start learning to box without the worry of any contact or sparring. The class focuses on boxing techniques, fitness, and having fun. It is a mixed class for boys and girls aged 9-16 years old suitable for all levels from beginners upwards.
The Junior Boxing Lessons coaches will teach basic boxing techniques, shadow boxing, punchbag work, circuit training and skipping.
Please note that sparing is prohibited during these sessions. Once a child reaches a certain level of boxing experience, we can then invite them to attend our Empire ABC Junior Sessions in agreement with the parent or guardian.
Please check out our Guide to Getting Started before attending the gym for the first time.
Sign yourself up as the parent/guardian via the Glofox app (Apple or Android) our website. Once completed, add the child under family accounts. Go to Junior memberships and choose either a week of lessons (£5) or a month (£20). Next book the class you wish the child to attend. You must also purchase ‘Junior Kit and sign-up Fee’ which is our one-off junior membership payment of £20. Head to our store in the app or purchase at reception. This one-off £20 fee includes free hand-wraps, a skipping rope (essential to attend the classes) and a Bristol Boxing water bottle. This will be ready for collection at reception before their first class.
